What's this Shoegazing I keep hearing about?

Despite losing the popular vote on the column, Amber was savvy enough to note that there is more than enough room for two columns on the site - which explains why i'm still here, lurking in the shadows.

So what this means is that Adam will be focusing on more mainstream comics, but with a sharp, sarcastic edge - and more than likely he'll be telling you about some great stuff from days gone by that you may have missed or ignored. Maybe you'll also get a glimpse of stuff that you were wise to stay away from too!

I, however, will be strongly focused on the independent scene. Now I won't necessarily be able to keep up with the hot new comics on the horizon - but I will do my best to steer you into reading some great material, whether it's new or old. Not only that, but I won't shy away from telling you what to stay away from either.

I don't expect you to agree with me all the time, but I do expect to be able to articulate exactly why I do or don't like a particular comic - so even if you do disagree, I hope you'll at least see why I feel the way I do about certain comics.

Above all, I hope that my musings entertain you - after all, that's what i'm here for. So stick around - with Adam's column alongside my own, i'm sure we're going to have a lot of fun.
